Tender Description
Water And Sanitation Agency Multan invites sealed bids from suppliers and contractors registered on Punjab e-Procurement System (EP) for the supply of medicines and vaccines to WASA Multan employees, both in-service and retired. The procurement is for medicines to be supplied on discounted rates on a monthly basis to employees of WASA Multan.
Items being procured:
- Supply of Medicines to the Employees of WASA (In Service & Retired)
The bidding will follow the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure and bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System portal. Only registered local chemists and druggists (wholesalers or retailers) operating in Multan city, preferably from nearby areas such as Ghanta Ghar Chowk, MDA Chowk, Nishtar Hospital Road, and other main localities, are eligible to participate.

Experience of supplying to government hospitals or institutions is required, with award letters or purchase orders attached. The contract is valid for one year, extendable. Payments will be made monthly. In case of non-availability, the supplier is responsible for arranging alternate stock. The bidder must not be blacklisted by PPRA or the procuring agency.
Earnest money (bid security) of Rs. 700,000 (2% of estimated cost) is required in the form of a digital bid security/e-bid security payable to WASA Multan and verifiable on the Punjab e-Procurement System. Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of minimum Rs. 300/- must be submitted authenticating the bid documents. Conditional tenders will not be accepted.
The submission deadline is 15-10-2026 at 11:00 A.M, with technical bids opening on the same day at 11:30 A.M via the e-Procurement portal. Bids will be valid for 120 days from the date of opening. If the tender opening date is a public holiday or non-working day, the tender will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your Drug Sale License and all supporting documents are up to date and uploaded correctly on the Punjab e-Procurement System to avoid disqualification during technical evaluation. Also, keep track of the bid security verification status on the portal to prevent last-minute issues.
