Supply of Raw Material and Hiring Specialized Labour Services for Furniture Manufacturing Unit

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur invites sealed bids from GST and Income Tax registered manufacturers, firms, or their authorized distributors, dealers, and general order suppliers for the supply of raw material and hiring of specialized labour services for its Furniture Manufacturing Unit located at the Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, Bahawalpur. This procurement is on a FOR basis. Items being procured: - Lot-1: Purchase of Raw Material (as per available sample) with an estimated cost of Rs.7,535,622 - Lot-2: Hiring Specialized Labour Services with an estimated cost of Rs.2,463,780 The tender requires bidders to submit bids for the entire quantity on a lot basis; partial bids will be rejected. The procurement will follow the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014, under a Single Stage – Single Envelope bidding procedure. Bidders must provide a 5% Bank Guarantee of the estimated cost for each lot separately, refundable in the form of CDR or Bank Guarantee in the name of Treasurer Islamia University Bahawalpur. The rates quoted should be inclusive of all taxes, and a copy of the paid bank challan for professional tax along with the bid security must be attached with the financial proposal. The tender submission deadline is by 10:30 A.M. on 24-11-2026, to the Office of the Secretary F.M.U, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Tenders will be opened the same day at 11:00 A.M. in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the office of the Project Director Furniture Manufacturing Unit Baghdad Ul Jadeed Campus. Late submissions will not be accepted. The rates should remain valid for 60 days from the date of tender opening. In case of holidays, the opening date/time will be considered the next working day. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their bids ensuring all required documents, including bid security and tax challans, are complete to avoid rejection. Early submission is recommended to avoid last-minute issues on the e-procurement platform.
