Tender Description
The Office of the Medical Superintendent at Cat-B Hospital Dargai Malakand invites sealed and online e-bids from EPADS registered firms for FY 2026-27. The procurement is for a variety of medical, surgical, and support items and services essential for hospital operations in Dargai, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Items being procured:
- Local purchase of Emergency Medicine, Surgical & Vaccines from regular Budget
- Schat Sahutat Pwgram with Dialysis Items in percentage
- Medical gas Oxygen Cylinder/Related items
- Laboratory Chemicals, Apparatus and RR Basis special chemistry Machine
- Surgical Disposables, ECG, Ultrasound and OT Items
- Other Contingencies (Washing, Cleaning, General and Electric items)
- Stationery and Printing Items
- Purchase of X-ray Films/CR and related items
- Dental Items
- Medicine used for Mustahiqeen-e-Zakat under Zakat funds
- Repairable Services of Items
- Outsourcing of Car Parking Area on Monthly Rent Basis

The scope covers supply of medicines, surgical disposables, medical gases, laboratory chemicals, diagnostic films, dental items, and repair services. It also includes outsourcing of the car parking area on a monthly rent basis, cafeteria services, and provision of bedding and protective clothing. Bidders must be registered with FBR, EPADS, and KPPRA and comply with all mandatory documentation requirements. Earnest money in the form of CDR is required as per listed amounts for each category. The bidding process will be conducted exclusively on the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal.
Bids must be submitted online on EPADS and original CDRs in sealed envelopes to the Medical Superintendent office before the deadline of 11:00 AM on 3rd September 2026. Bids will be opened at 11:30 AM the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Rates must be valid until 30th June 2027 under KPPRA Rule 31 (A) Framework Contract. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid as per KPPRA Rule 47 (I).
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all mandatory documents are compiled into a single PDF file for upload on EPADS and that original CDRs are submitted timely in sealed envelopes to avoid disqualification. Careful attention to the bid submission deadline and compliance with all KPPRA rules will improve chances of success.
