Tender Description
The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites electronic bids for the supply of 03 Seater Visitor Chairs and Tables made of high grade fiber glass for the Tourist Resort at PMDC Salt Mines, Khewra. This procurement is specifically for sturdy furniture suitable for outdoor public and commercial areas, featuring 16 gauge powder coated MS frames designed to withstand outdoor weather conditions. The chairs and tables must be complete in all respects including fixing as directed by the Engineer or In-charge.
Interested suppliers must have valid registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or respective revenue boards and be on the active taxpayer list for income and sales tax. Firms should be well-established with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience with government or semi-government organizations. Proof of experience, work orders, and completion certificates are required. Suppliers are also requested to submit catalogues of the offered items to demonstrate quality and specifications.
The tender requires submission of earnest money amounting to Rs. 50,000 in the form of a pay order or demand draft in favor of PMDC. The bids must be submitted electronically via the EPAD system on or before 18th June 2026 at 11:00 AM. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The successful bidder will be required to deposit a security amount equal to 10% of the total contract value, which will be refunded after the warranty period.
The warranty period is 12 months and must include labor, maintenance, parts replacement, and any related services starting from the issuance of a satisfactory completion certificate. Completion time for the supply is 2 months. Bidders are advised to visit the site before quoting and ensure all rates are quoted in PKR inclusive of all taxes. No escalation of cost or interim payments will be entertained.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the original bid security instrument is submitted before the online submission deadline, as failure to do so will result in the bid not being opened. Also, carefully review the checklist of required documents including CNIC, authority letter, FBR registration, financial soundness proof, and affidavits regarding litigation and conflict of interest to avoid disqualification.
