Tender Description
The Parks & Wildlife Department Gilgit-Baltistan invites open bidding for Trophy Hunting Permits of wild ungulates for the 2026-2027 hunting season in Gilgit-Baltistan. The auction will be held on 10th September 2026 at 10:30 AM in the conference hall of Forest Complex Jutial Gilgit. Trophy hunting will follow the GB Trophy Hunting Guidelines 2019. The hunting season for ungulate species starts on 15th October 2026 and ends on 10th April 2027.

The permits are valid for designated Conservancies/CCHAS only. Interested hunters, outfitters, and companies registered with the department can participate. Individual hunters may participate under the non-exportable category. Call deposits must be submitted in the name of Chief Conservator Parks & Wildlife Gilgit-Baltistan prior to auction. Detailed terms and GB Trophy Hunting Guidelines 2019 are available from the department office or via email ccpw@fwegb.gov.pk. Logistics including travel, lodging, permits, insurance, and visas are the responsibility of hunters or their facilitators. Hunters must collect permits in person and comply with physical examination and endorsement procedures. Only hunters with valid permits may hunt; permits are non-transferable except under specified conditions. Registration fee for outfitters/companies is Rs 20,000 valid for three years. Past scrutiny or investigation disqualifies bidders. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. Successful bidders must deposit permit fees within one month or risk forfeiture. The hunting is physically demanding and requires fitness and patience due to difficult terrain and cold weather.
Bidders should ensure timely submission of call deposits and familiarize themselves with the GB Trophy Hunting Guidelines 2019 to avoid disqualification. Participation requires registration with the department and adherence to all terms. The auction date and venue are fixed, so punctuality is essential.
