Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the installation of water supply pipelines of 3", 4", and 6" diameters across various wards in Municipal Committee Umerkot, Sindh. The Executive Engineer, Building Division Umerkot, is overseeing this project which falls under Plumbing & Sanitary Items and Construction & Civil Works Materials categories. The project involves excavation, pipe laying, chamber construction, and related civil works to improve water distribution infrastructure in Umerkot.
The scope includes excavation of trenches in sandy soil, laying UPVC pipes of specified diameters, and constructing chambers with reinforced concrete and brick masonry as per approved designs. The site is located along Main Kunri Road near Paras Hospital, Umerkot. The work demands careful handling of materials, precise alignment, and adherence to technical specifications to ensure durability and functionality of the water supply system.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category and possess active NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registrations. Compliance with FBR/ATL requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26 is mandatory. The tender requires submission of a valid Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as bid security amounting to 5% of the estimated cost. PEC category and financial capability will be evaluated as part of the technical bid.
The deadline for submission of bids is set for 09 April 2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:00 AM at the Office of the Executive Engineer, Building Division Umerkot, near Kunri Road, Paras Hospital.
