Tender Description
Wah Industries Limited, Packages Factory, Wah Cantt, invites sealed quotations for the procurement of Welding Rod No 12 (J-38) as per the detailed specifications provided in the tender documents. This procurement is for the supply of welding rods to be delivered at Packages Factory, adjacent to POF Barrier 01, Sanjwal Cantt, Attock. The tender is open to eligible suppliers registered with the Sales Tax Department, and all quotations must remain valid for at least 90 days from the date of opening.
Items being procured:
- Welding Rod No 12 (J-38), 1,860 packets (each packet 2.5 kg)
The technical offer must include detailed literature or brochures of the offered welding rods, validity date, delivery schedule, and a signed undertaking. A fixed bid money of PKR 60,000 and a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 2,500 are mandatory, both to be submitted with the technical offer. Advance sample of one packet (2.5 kg) must also be provided. The commercial offer should specify price, payment terms, and mode of supply, and must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope. Both envelopes should be clearly marked as per instructions.
Suppliers must ensure free delivery to Packages Factory, Sanjwal Cantt. Only those with valid Sales Tax and Professional Tax Clearance Certificates are eligible. The successful bidder will be required to submit a performance guarantee equal to 10% of the contract value. Inspection will be conducted at the purchaser's premises by the designated authority. The delivery period is 15 days after placement of contract. 100% payment will be made after acceptance of stores, and part payment against part supply is allowed.
Bids must be submitted by courier or by hand at the POFs Bid Centre, Room No 02, behind Rabta Hall, Wah Cantt, no later than 11:30 am on the closing date. Offers sent by email will not be entertained. Practical tip: Ensure your bid money and tender fee are included in the technical envelope to avoid outright rejection at the bid opening.
