100KW Ongrid Solar System for OGDCL Girls Hostel at Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad

Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad (Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training) invites bids for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 100KW Ongrid Solar System for the OGDCL Girls Hostel located at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is open to eligible bidders registered on EPADS v2.0. The project requires a comprehensive solar power system installation including all necessary components and accessories to ensure full operational capability. Items being procured: - Tier-1 Solar PV panels (Minimum N-type Bifacial) 100,000 W - Tier-1 On-Grid Solar Inverter, rated capacity 115 kW, Brand: Huawei, Quantity: 1 - Wall-mounted protection panel with 4-pole MCCB, AC SPD, digital voltmeter and ammeter, LED lamps, fuses, terminal blocks, cable glands, Quantity: 1 - DC Combiner/Protection Panel with 1500 VDC, 20 A string fuses, DC SPDs, Hot Aerosol Fire Extinguishing Devices, Quantity: 1 - DC cables 6mm2 SC flexible tin coated CU/XLPO/XLPO (Red/Black), 1500 meters - 70mmsq 4 core PVC/PVC insulated copper cable with lugs & sleeves, 10 meters - Hot-dip galvanized iron ground mounted support structures, 100,000 W - Galvanised iron perforated cable tray with cover, 220 meters - 3/4" PVC pipe for protection of DC cables, 200 meters - Earthing bore with resistance less than 2 ohms, 2 jobs - Earthing bore for lightning arrester with resistance less than 5 ohms, 1 job - Copper cables for earthing in various sizes (6mm2, 16mm2, 35mm2), various meters - Spike ball air terminals with 5 spikes, 2 units - Process of file for net metering and replacement of net meter if required, 1 job - Main disconnect switch 4 pole 250 amp, 1 unit - Zero export device compatible with inverter, 1 unit - Exhaust fan 16 inches metallic body, 1 unit - Air Conditioner 1.5 ton inverter type, 1 unit - Bracket fan 20 inches metallic body, 1 unit - Pressure washer 90 bar 1200 watt, 1 unit - PVC hose pipe 3/4" with steel wire, 50 meters - 0.5 hp water monoblock water pump, 1 unit - GI pipe 3/4" from main tank to panels site, 12 meters - Installation and commissioning charges, 1 job The technical scope includes installation of Tier-1 solar PV modules and inverter, mounting structures, protection panels, earthing systems, ventilation and cooling for inverter room, water pumping and cleaning equipment, and net metering process as per NEPRA policy. The system must comply with IEC standards and include warranties of 30 years for PV modules and 5 years for inverters. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with AEDB/PPIB under C1 category, hold PEC license C-4 or above with specialized codes EE04 and EE11 (Solar), registered with SECP, valid tax registration, local presence for over 3 years, financial strength to start project without advance payment, and experience with at least 3 solar systems of 100kW or above.
