Tender Description
The Office of Project Director (GSC) at Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites sealed bids for the construction of pole foundations as part of the 132KV D/C Jampur - Fazilpur Transmission Line project in Multan. This procurement is for ground clearance work between locations No. 212-213. Items being procured:
- Construction of reinforced concrete pile 1200/1600 mm dia with pile caps using SR cement, Sakhi Sarwar sand, and crush
- SPA + 2M Steel Pole Pile foundation as per drawing No. PDW/TC-791 with bearing cap 1-Kg/cm
The scope includes all civil works necessary for the pole foundations at the specified locations. Eligible bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) certificate with at least Category C-6 and specialization codes CE-10 & CE-02. Bidders must be on the active tax payer list (ATL) and registered with the Punjab Revenue Authority for sales tax. Experience of at least two successfully completed contracts of similar nature awarded by WAPDA, NTDC, or DISCOs within the last ten years is mandatory. The average annual turnover for the last three years should be at least 1.5 times the BOQ amount, supported by tax returns and bank statements.
Bids must be submitted electronically via the EPADS v2.0 portal by **Thursday, October 8, 2026, 11:00 AM**. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call at Deposit, or Demand Draft must be submitted physically to the Project Director's office at GSC Complex near 132 Kv Grid Station Khanewal Road, Multan. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. The contract includes a 25-day delivery schedule from the commencement date.
