Tender Description
This tender invites reputable international accreditation and certification bodies to provide accreditation services for STEVTA institutes located in Karachi, Sindh. The Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) seeks to enhance the quality and international recognition of its vocational training institutes by engaging qualified organizations such as APACC, City & Guilds, Pearson, and TUV Rhineland. The scope includes accreditation of institutes and certification of programs to facilitate international employment opportunities for Sindh's youth.
The accreditation process involves rigorous evaluation of training delivery, institutional standards, and program quality. Bidders must demonstrate extensive experience, valid tax registration, and compliance with local and international standards. The work will be conducted primarily at STEVTA headquarters in Karachi, with coordination across multiple institutes. The technical evaluation criteria emphasize years in business, number of accredited institutes and programs, financial turnover, and global outreach.
Bidders should ensure they meet PEC category requirements and maintain valid FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. The bid document fee is PKR 2,000 non-refundable, and a 5% bid security is required. The contract includes performance security and adherence to SPP Rules 2010 (amended 2019). Compliance with all tax and regulatory obligations is mandatory.
Submission deadline is set for 6th February 2026 at 03:15 p.m., with bid opening at 03:30 p.m. at the Committee Room, STEVTA HQ, Street-19, Block-6, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. Bids must be submitted via the EPADS online portal. Physical documents including pay order for bid security must accompany the submission.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the bid security and stamp duty requirements as outlined in the newspaper advertisement and bidding documents to avoid common pitfalls that lead to bid rejection.
