Tender Description
The **College Education Works Division Karachi** is procuring works for the addition, rehabilitation, and missing facilities at the Govt Girls Science Arts and Commerce College 15-C Orangi Town, Karachi. This project is part of the 2025-26 ADP Programme under SDG#4, funded by the Provincial Government of Sindh. The scope includes extensive civil works such as dismantling, reinforced cement concrete, plastering, masonry, flooring with porcelain and marble tiles, aluminum and iron works, painting, plumbing, and sanitary installations. The contract covers a wide range of construction activities including RCC work, steel reinforcement, plastering, flooring, painting, and installation of sanitary fittings.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for contracts above Rs. 4 million, possess valid NTN and SRB certificates, and have at least five years of experience in similar works. Financial soundness is required with audited financial statements and tax returns for the last five years. The technical evaluation includes assessment of professional experience, financial soundness, personnel capabilities, and equipment owned by the firm. Bidders must submit a bid security of Rs. 1,323,500 and provide a performance security of 5% of the bid amount upon award.
The tender follows the Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure with technical bids to be opened first and financial bids of only technically qualified bidders to be opened subsequently. The deadline for submission is **28th April 2026 at 11:00 am** at the office located at 95 Depot Lines, behind Coast Guard Headquarters, Karachi. Bids must be delivered in person or by registered mail. The contract duration is 24 months from the commencement date.
