The College Education Works Karachi Division invites bids for the Addition and Rehabilitation including Missing Facilities of existing colleges in the Karachi region specifically at Govt. Girls Science, Arts & Commerce College 15-C, Orangi Town, Karachi. This procurement is part of the ADP No. 193 of 2026-2027 and is funded by the Government of Sindh. The works involve comprehensive civil construction and rehabilitation activities to upgrade the college infrastructure. Items being procured: - Dismantling of cement concrete and plaster - Removal of doors, windows, and tiles - Scraping and painting of walls, woodwork, and metal surfaces - Reinforced cement concrete works including roof slabs, beams, columns - Fabrication and fixing of steel reinforcement - Cement plastering and masonry works - Flooring with porcelain tiles, marble, and paving blocks - Installation of aluminum windows and doors - Fixing of iron grills, collapsible gates, and expanded metal - Painting of doors, windows, and iron works - Installation of fiber ceiling panels - Water supply and sanitary works including W.C. pans, wash basins, bib cocks, valves, and sewerage pipes The technical scope covers all civil, structural, finishing, and sanitary works as per PWD specifications and includes site preparation, material supply, installation, and finishing. The project duration is 24 months with a bid validity of 90 days. Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category (C-5 or above), have valid FBR and SRB registration, and demonstrate experience in similar works with required financial soundness and technical capacity. Bid security of Rs. 1,300,000 and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000 must be submitted. Bids are to be submitted electronically via the EPAD portal before 13 October 2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer, College Education Works, Karachi Division, Plot # 95, Depot Lines, Behind Coast Guard Headquarter, Karachi. Original tender fee, bid security, and e-stamping affidavits must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the same office before bid opening.
