Tender Description
The School Education & Literacy Department through its Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) SERP-II Sindh invites sealed bids for the provision of additional facilities and renovation of existing Model High and Higher Secondary Schools in Sanghar District. This tender covers civil, plumbing, and electrical works for two schools: GBHS Shah Abdul Latif and GGHSS Jhol. The scope includes construction and renovation of classrooms, science labs, plumbing installations, electrification, and related infrastructure improvements.
The technical scope involves dismantling existing damaged structures, earthworks, reinforced concrete works, brickwork, plastering, painting, flooring with glazed tiles and marble, electrical wiring, solar power system installation, and plumbing fittings. The works are to be executed as per Composite Schedule of Rates 2024 and relevant specifications. The project duration is 365 days from the date of commencement.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-5 or above with specialization codes EE04, CE09, and CE10. Valid electrical license from Government of Sindh for the concerned region is mandatory. Bidders must be active taxpayers on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Experience of similar works with satisfactory completion certificates and financial soundness with minimum annual turnover equivalent to the project cost are required. Technical staff and equipment availability must be demonstrated.
The tender fee is Rs. 5,000 and earnest money of Rs. 2,430,000 must be submitted. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SPPRA portal by 25th May 2026 at 03:30 PM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 04:00 PM at the PMIU office in Karachi. Late or manual bids will not be accepted. The bid validity period is 90 days. Performance security of 10% of contract price is required from the successful bidder.
