Afforestation Along Linear Plantations in Sheikhupura and Nankana Forest Divisions

The Punjab Forest Department invites bids for the planning and maintenance under the development scheme titled 'Afforestation along Linear Plantations in Punjab' specifically covering 40 Avenue Kilometers in Sheikhupura Forest Sub Division Railway Line Chichoki Mallian to Sheikhupura and 40 Avenue Kilometers of Ahmadpur Forest Range Railway Line Sangla Hill in District Nankana Sahib. This tender is issued under the PPRA E-Tendering System with a single stage, two envelope bidding procedure. Items being procured: - Cost of plants including 15% restocking (330+50=380 Nos.) of various species in polythene bags - Planting of plants including local carriage (380 Nos.) - Hand watering of plants 30 times with tractor and water bowser (9900 Nos.) - Cost of POL for watering 30 times @ 2.75 hours per irrigation x 6 liters per hour x 30T=180 liters per Av. Km - Weeding 1 time @ 2 CD per Av. Km - Rakha for protection of afforestation one Rakha for 20 Av. Km - Reopening of pits 1 time for 330 pits - Unforeseen The total estimated cost is Rs. 1,210,656/- with a rate of Rs. 302,664/- per Av. Km for 80 Av. Km. The scope includes planting, watering, weeding, and protection of afforestation along the specified linear plantations. The work must be completed within the current planting season and financial year 2026-27. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and have a valid PEC license for 2026-27. Firms must also be registered on the Punjab PRA website and upload earnest money in the form of CDR at 5% of the estimated bid cost. Bids will be received through the Epad portal (https://eprocure.gov.pk) until 14 September 2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical and financial bids will be opened the same day at 01:30 PM in the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Sheikhupura / Nankana Forest Division. Late or incomplete submissions will be disqualified. The successful bidder will be responsible for all taxes, grazing and fire protection, and handing over the area successfully. A biannual satisfactory monitoring report is required. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your original CDR is submitted to the tender opening committee at least half an hour before the bid opening time to avoid disqualification.
