Tender Description
The Directorate General of Archaeology Punjab invites qualified firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under category C-6 or above with specialization BC-02 (Restoration & Conservation) to submit electronic bids via the ePADS portal for important conservation and rehabilitation projects in Punjab. The projects are located primarily in Rawalpindi and Sialkot, focusing on heritage preservation and restoration.
Items being procured:
- Conservation of Durga Niwas Haveli, District Rawalpindi (Rs. 20.387 Million)
- Conservation of Krishna Temple, District Rawalpindi (Rs. 49.750 Million)
- Conservation of Kalayan Das Temple, District Rawalpindi (Rs. 76.295 Million)
- Conservation of Markazi Jamia Masjid Hanfia, Masjid Road, District Rawalpindi (Rs. 179.756 Million)
- Rehabilitation & Upgradation of Iqbal Manzil, Sialkot (Rs. 12.844 Million)
These works involve specialized restoration and conservation techniques to preserve the cultural heritage structures. The scope includes structural repairs, material conservation, and upgrading works to maintain historical integrity. Firms must have relevant experience in conservation projects and comply with PEC registration requirements.
Bidders must submit their technical and financial bids online at ep.punjab.gov.pk by the deadline of 23rd September 2026 at 2:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 2:30 PM. Earnest money of 5% of the estimated cost is required, valid for 90 days beyond the bid submission date, payable via PSID through the e-P system in favor of the Director General Archaeology.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 16th September 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Directorate General of Archaeology, 60-A Garden Town Lahore. Bidders should carefully review the bidding documents available on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website. Incomplete bids or those not following the e-bid submission guidelines will be rejected.
For best results, bidders should ensure all entries in DNIT/BOQs are complete and accurate, quoting rates against each item rather than percentages. This will avoid disqualification for non-responsiveness. Timely submission through the official portal is critical to avoid technical rejections.
