Tender Description
The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) invites bids for the procurement of Alcatel EPABX system support and maintenance services for one year at the NICL Building in Karachi. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using the Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.\n\nItems being procured:\n- Alcatel EPABX system support and maintenance for one year (without parts)\n\nThe scope includes comprehensive support and maintenance services for the Alcatel EPABX system installed at the NICL Karachi office. The contract excludes supply of parts but includes all labor and technical assistance required to keep the system operational. The service provider must have an office or shop in Karachi and proven experience providing similar services to at least one client in Pakistan within the last three years.\n\nBidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and submit their bids electronically before the deadline. Bid security is not required but a bid securing declaration must be submitted on company letterhead. The technical and financial bids will be opened online on September 21, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted.\n\nThe contract will commence on October 17, 2026, and payment will be made after completion of work and submission of original invoice, subject to government tax deductions. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids.\n\nA practical tip for bidders: Ensure your EPADS registration is complete and up to date well before the bid submission deadline to avoid disqualification.
