Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering (PHE) Division Tank is inviting bids for the Annual Maintenance and Repair (AM&R) of Drinking Water Supply Schemes (DWSS) tanks located in Tank city for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement covers both civil works and electrical/mechanical maintenance for tanks situated at Gul Imam Circle, Dabara Circle, and Jandola Circle. The scope includes comprehensive civil repairs and upkeep as well as electrical and mechanical servicing to ensure the operational efficiency of these vital water supply infrastructures.
Eligible contractors must be pre-qualified firms or contractors registered with the relevant PEC categories for civil and electrical/mechanical works. They should also possess valid FBR registration and be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in similar water supply infrastructure projects will be advantageous. Bidders are required to submit their bids electronically through the EPADS system by the deadline of 29th June 2026 at 02:00 p.m. The bids will be opened the same day at 02:30 p.m. in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
A bid security amounting to 2% of the bid cost in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory. The CDR must be in the name of the Executive Engineer PHE Division Tank and comply with the prescribed stamp duty and tender form fees. Failure to provide a valid CDR will result in bid rejection. All government taxes will be deducted as per applicable policies.
For bidders, a practical tip is to carefully ensure that the CDR clearly mentions the name of the scheme and is properly attested by an Oath Commissioner. This attention to detail can prevent disqualification due to non-responsiveness. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for qualified contractors to engage in essential maintenance works that support the water supply infrastructure in Tank city under the auspices of the Public Health Engineering Division.
