Annual Tender for Operation, Maintenance and Servicing of 04 Nos. Schindler Lifts Installed at State Life Building Peshawar

The State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC), Real Estate, Peshawar, invites bids for the annual tender for operation, maintenance and servicing of 04 Nos. Schindler lifts installed at State Life Building, 34 The Mall Road, Peshawar Cantt. This procurement is for non-consultancy services under a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure with open competitive bidding and least cost based selection technique. Items being procured: - Operation, maintenance and servicing of 4 Schindler lifts - Provision of 1 Lift Mechanic/Supervisor - Provision of 4 Lift Operators The scope includes routine inspection, preventive maintenance, servicing, minor repairs, emergency breakdown attendance, and maintaining maintenance records. The lifts operate from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM six days a week (Monday to Saturday). The contractor must provide substitutes for absent lift operators. The lift mechanic must have a DAE in Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent with at least 3 years experience, preferably with Schindler lifts. Lift operators require matriculation and 2 years relevant experience. All staff must be physically fit, in uniform with ID cards, and maintain logbooks of defects and actions taken. The contractor is responsible for supplying and maintaining all necessary tools and instruments listed in the annexure, including spanners, screwdrivers, wire cutters, multimeter, and others. Costs for replacement parts and repairs are borne by the employer. Payment will be made monthly after satisfactory service completion. Bidders must be registered with FBR, have a minimum turnover of PKR 10 million, PEC registration in C5 category with relevant specialization, and at least 5 years experience with 5 similar projects completed. Authorized distributor certificates for multinational lift brands are required. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 26 October 2026 at 10:30 AM. Bid security of Rs. 152,000 in the form of pay order or banker's cheque must be submitted in hard copy before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM. Manual bids are not accepted. The contract period is one year starting from 30 November 2026. The contract includes compliance with all applicable labor laws, payment of minimum wages, and all taxes inclusive in the quoted rates. Deduction penalties apply for unsatisfactory service or staff absence. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submit all mandatory documents including bid security and proof of eligibility criteria to avoid disqualification. Maintain clear communication and submit detailed monthly reports on lift performance and maintenance activities to the employer for smooth contract execution.
