Annual Repair Maintenance Contract for Standby Diesel Generating Sets at Port Qasim Authority

Port Qasim Authority (PQA) Karachi invites sealed bids for the Annual Repair Maintenance Contract for standby Diesel Generating Sets at PQA for the financial year 2026-27. This contract covers comprehensive repair and maintenance services for multiple HT and LT diesel generators installed at various PQA locations including MDS, Chairman Secretariat, IOCB, PQA House, Telephone Exchange Building, and PQA Hut. Items being procured: - Two trained/skilled Generator Operators for 24/7 operation and maintenance - Maintenance and replacement of filters (oil, air, fuel) - Repair and servicing of water bodies, self starters, silencers, fuel lines, turbo return oil lines, fuel tank pipes - Replacement of existing silencers, water bodies, lifting pumps - Servicing and calibration of fuel injectors and fuel pumps - Provision and fixing of sensors (oil pressure, water temperature), exhaust silencer lapping - Routine inspection visits and servicing charges for various DG sets - Painting, cleaning, and repair of radiators, engine bases, canopies, and other components - Supply and fixing of electrical components including cables, MCCBs, fuses, relays, contactors, meters, switches - Servicing of compressors, cranes, and other related equipment - Supply of spare parts including bearings, belts, hoses, pipes, valves, batteries, and other accessories - Provision of PPE for technical staff The scope includes all mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted standby power supply. The contractor must provide skilled manpower, maintain all equipment, and ensure availability of spare parts at site. The contract duration is 12 months with a maintenance period of 12 months post completion. Eligibility requires PEC category C-6 or above with specialization codes ME-07 and EE-03, valid PEC registration, FBR and SRB registration, ATL active status, and relevant experience with at least one completed contract of HT standby diesel generating sets. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Bid security in the form of Pay Order is required.
