Annual Repair Maintenance Contract for PQA Water Works

Port Qasim Authority PQA (Port Qasim Authority - PQA) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Annual Repair Maintenance Contract for PQA Water Works located in Karachi, Sindh. This contract covers comprehensive repair and maintenance services for pump sets, valves, pipes, meters, electric panels, and related equipment at multiple PQA facilities including Pump Houses, NWIZ, Housing Complex, IOCB, Fire Pump House, and ship connections at Marginal Wharf. Items being procured: - Trained qualified staff including plumber, electrician, and helper for regular servicing and preventive maintenance - Repair and replacement of non-return valves, gate valves, MS pipes and fittings, electric motors, bearings, impellers, couplings, bushings, oil seals, fans, packing nuts/bolts, pump shafts, gland cups, pump bodies, shafts, GI pipes, butterfly gate valves, pressure gauges, flow meters, chain pulley blocks, HDPE pipes and fittings, electrical cables, circuit breakers, magnetic contactors, timers, indication lamps, selector switches, distribution panels, welding machines, tools, sheds, rubber bellows, painting, fly wheels, dual bearings, and more as detailed in the bidding documents The scope includes regular preventive and breakdown maintenance, supply of required parts and labor, removal and refurbishing of worn parts, and ensuring uninterrupted fresh water supply. The contractor is responsible for maintaining adequate spare parts and repairing any damage to PQA equipment at their own cost. Debris and jungle cutting removal is also included. Eligibility requires PEC category C-5 or above with specialization codes ME-06 and CE-09, valid PEC registration till June 30, 2027, active FBR NTN, and ATL registration. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 to participate. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Bid opening will be on the same day at 12:00 PM. Bid security in the form of Pay Order or bid securing declaration is mandatory. Performance guarantee of 10% of contract price is required upon award. The contract duration is twelve months starting from the effective date. Payment terms are as per actual invoices with retention money of 5%. Liquidated damages apply for delays or performance failures.
