Tender Description
The Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore, invites sealed tenders from well reputed firms for the purchase of medicines and disposables on an annual tender basis for the PIC Model Pharmacy for the financial year 2026-2027. Items being procured:
- Local Purchase (L.P) Medicines & Disposables
The procurement is for the Model Pharmacy at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology located on Jail Road, Lahore. Tenderers must submit their bids by the closing date of 18-09-2026, with the receiving date and time set for 19-09-2026 at 10:00 A.M. The bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 A.M. in the presence of participants. Earnest money of Rs. 500,000.00 is required, refundable to unsuccessful bidders.
The minimum discount benchmark for medicines is 10% for national firms, 6% for multinational firms, and 15% for disposables. Firms must submit separate financial bids item-wise in separate envelopes; otherwise, bids will be rejected. Photocopies of CDRs with hidden amounts may be attached with technical bids, while originals must be submitted with financial bids.
Bidders are advised to ensure timely submission and compliance with all tender requirements. One practical tip is to carefully prepare separate envelopes for technical and financial bids to avoid disqualification due to packaging errors.
