Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) Chaklala invites applications for the pre-qualification of a Government Auctioneer for the auction of MES unserviceable and surplus store items. This procurement is specifically for the appointment of a Government Auctioneer to manage the auction process of these items for a period of one year. Items being procured:
- Appointment of Govt Auctioneer for the auction of MES unserviceable and surplus store/items (for one year)
The scope of work involves conducting auctions for MES unserviceable and surplus stores, ensuring compliance with PPRA rules and regulations. The appointed auctioneer will be responsible for managing the auction process efficiently and transparently within the specified area of Chaklala. Eligible firms must be enlisted as approved Government Auctioneers and provide proof of experience in similar auctions executed over the last two years. They must also submit a certificate confirming their approved status along with details of financial standing, staff employed, tools and plants, and previous experience attested by a Class-I Gazetted officer.
The tender documents will be issued only to firms meeting these criteria. The tender must be submitted to the accepting officer by 11:30 hours on 18 August 2026 and will be opened on the same day at 12:00 hours. This tender is a valuable opportunity for auctioneers with relevant experience and proper registration to secure a government contract for one year.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documentation, including proof of previous auction experience and financial certificates, is complete and attested as required. This will facilitate smooth scrutiny and increase the chances of being issued the tender documents. Timely submission before the deadline is critical to avoid disqualification.
