Tender Description
The Army Welfare Trust (AWT) in Rawalpindi is offering vehicles for sale through an open auction scheduled for 30 July 2026 at 1100 hrs at the AWT Plaza on Mall Road, Rawalpindi. This procurement opportunity is ideal for suppliers and buyers interested in acquiring used vehicles from a reputable government trust.
Items being procured:
- Toyota Corolla GLI, Model 2017, Silver Colour
- Toyota Corolla GLI, Model 2018, Silver Colour
- Toyota Grandee, Model 2018, White Colour
The auction includes three vehicles with specific models and colors listed. Interested bidders can inspect the vehicles on 25 and 26 July 2026 from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm, allowing a thorough assessment before bidding. Vehicle documents will be available for review during inspection times to ensure transparency.
The terms require the successful bidder to deposit 25% of the final bid amount as surety money on the auction date, with the remaining balance payable within seven days. Failure to pay the balance on time will result in forfeiture of 50% of the surety money. Additionally, all prevailing government taxes will apply and be recovered in addition to the bid amount. The vehicle transfer will be completed within 15 days of the auction date.
This auction is a straightforward procurement of used vehicles, with no PEC category or FBR registration requirements. It is essential for bidders to prepare earnest money and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties.
The auction date and time are fixed, and submissions are made in person at the venue. A practical tip for bidders is to inspect the vehicles carefully on the specified dates to avoid surprises and to arrange finances in advance to meet the payment deadlines promptly. This will enhance the chances of a successful and smooth transaction.
