Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
Metropolitan Corporation Lahore is conducting an open auction for the collection rights of various urban facilities for the financial year 2026-27 under the Punjab Local Government (Urban Facilities) Rights Rules 2016. The auction will be held on 15 September 2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Chief Officer, Metropolitan Corporation Lahore. Interested parties are invited to participate in the auction for the following collection rights:
Items being auctioned:
- Parking Stand at Shadman Market (Annual Reserve Price: Rs. 1,672,301, Earnest Money: Rs. 167,230)
- Parking Stand at Liberty Market (Annual Reserve Price: Rs. 1,763,540, Earnest Money: Rs. 176,354)
- Parking Stand at Moon Market (Annual Reserve Price: Rs. 750,750, Earnest Money: Rs. 75,075)
- Parking Stand at Barkat Market (Annual Reserve Price: Rs. 582,950, Earnest Money: Rs. 58,295)
- Parking Stand at Ichhra Market (Annual Reserve Price: Rs. 1,862,521, Earnest Money: Rs. 186,252)
- Parking Stand at Anarkali (Annual Reserve Price: Rs. 533,602, Earnest Money: Rs. 53,360)
- Other Urban Facilities (Annual Reserve Price: Rs. 993,483, Earnest Money: Rs. 99,348)
Each lot specifies the annual reserve price and the required earnest money (10% of reserve price) to participate. The successful bidder will be granted collection rights for the period from 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027, with the possibility of renewal for the next financial year. Bidders must submit a CDR or pay order for the earnest money, along with valid NTN and CNIC copies. Only those fulfilling all eligibility criteria will be allowed to participate. The auction will be conducted in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the terms and conditions, and ensure all documents are complete before the auction date. A practical tip: Arrive early on auction day to complete registration and verify your CDR, as latecomers may not be accommodated.
