E-Auction of Scrap Material Lots by Karachi Port Trust

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites electronic bids for the e-auction of scrap material on an "as is-where is basis" at Karachi. The auction is managed by the Stores Department of KPT. Interested bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for Income Tax and Sales Tax and be on the Active Taxpayer List. Bidding documents are available on the EPADS 2.0 platform at https://epads.gov.pk/. Items being auctioned: - Scrap of Furniture, Hospital Equipment & Machinery, Old Mattresses, Pillows, etc. - Scrap of Dismantled MS pipes dia 8" & 16" - Scrap of Iron Grill, Wooden Doors & Windows. Bidders are advised to inspect the lots during office hours at the central disposal yard, West Wharf Road Karachi before submitting bids. The auction will be conducted electronically via EPADS (2.0 version). Manual bids will not be accepted. The electronic bids must be submitted on or before Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM. The bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM. Bidders must submit an attested copy of their valid CNIC through EPADS. Earnest money equal to 10% of the reserve price for each lot is required. All taxes, levies, and duties will be charged as per government rules. The highest bid after approval by the Competent Authority will be accepted. KPT reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to acceptance.
