Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Abbottabad is conducting an open auction for the sale of waste paper and miscellaneous scrap items generated during the financial years 2024/2025 and 2025/2026. This auction provides an opportunity for interested parties to acquire bulk lots of used answer sheets, exam papers, and other redundant paper materials accumulated by the board.
Items being auctioned:
- Waste answer sheets (approx. 2000 kg, used in annual and supplementary exams)
- Miscellaneous scrap paper and related items from the board's stores
- Cutting and trimmings from the board's printing section
All items will be auctioned on an as-is-where-is basis. The auction will be held at the board's main office in Abbottabad. Interested bidders must submit their sealed bids by 2:00 PM on 28 September 2026. Bids received after this deadline will not be entertained. The auction committee will open the bids on 29 September 2026 at 2:30 PM in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives.
A refundable Earnest Money deposit of 10 percent of the bid amount is required with each bid, submitted as a CDR or pay order in favor of the board. Successful bidders must deposit the full amount within 30 days of award. All taxes and duties applicable under government rules will be borne by the successful bidder. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
For bidders, it is advisable to inspect the lots physically before submitting bids to accurately assess the quality and quantity of the waste paper and scrap. This can help in making a competitive and realistic offer.
