Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The Institute of Education and Research (IER), University of the Punjab, Lahore, invites sealed bids from interested individuals, firms and entrepreneurs for the public auction of Food Shop (Biryani Shop, Sallen Roti, Naan Tiki) shop located at the Institute through Open Competitive Bidding.
Items being auctioned:
- Food Shop (Biryani Shop)
- Sallen Roti Shop
- Naan Tiki Shop
Tender/Auction documents can be obtained from the Account Branch, Institute of Education and Research, during office hours on payment of the prescribed tender fee of 2000/- non-refundable. Sealed bids must reach the office of the Director, IER on or before 22-09-2026 at 04.00 p.m. The bid opening will be on 23-09-2026 at 11 a.m. in the presence of bidders. Bids below the minimum proposed rent of 60000/- per month will not be considered.
The bidder shall deposit the prescribed Security Deposit: CDR @ 200000/- for shops with the bid. The successful bidder will deposit advance rent of three months and electricity bill security @50000/- and other applicable charges within the time specified by the Auction committee, IER. Receipt in favour of the Director, IER Account No.01820001012503, HBL New Campus Branch. All government applicable taxes will be taken from the successful bidder in advance.
The Auction Committee, IER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel the auction process at any stage in accordance with applicable rules without assigning any reason.
Employees of the University of the Punjab, including the Institute of Education and Research (IER), are not allowed to participate in the auction.
For bidders, it is advisable to carefully prepare the bid security and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. Visit the Account Branch early to obtain documents and clarify any queries before the closing date.
