AUCTION: Forest Produce (Timber and Firewood) Lots Neelum Circle 2026-27

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Forest Department Neelum Circle is conducting an open auction for the sale of forest produce, including timber and firewood, from various forest compartments for the financial year 2026-27. The auction will be held at the office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Neelum, and is open to all eligible bidders interested in acquiring forest produce lots from the Neelum region. This is a significant opportunity for timber merchants, contractors, and local businesses to participate in the legal procurement of valuable forest resources directly from the government. Items being auctioned: - Lot 01: Compartment 08 Dudiyal, Timber: 130,000 cft, Firewood: 5,000 cft, Reserve Price: 214,911 PKR - Lot 02: Compartment 16 Narain, Timber: 35,000 cft, Firewood: 3,703 cft, Reserve Price: 104,277 PKR - Lot 03: Compartment 12 Narain, Timber: 105,000 cft, Firewood: 30,000 cft, Reserve Price: 267,949 PKR - Lot 04: Compartment 18 Lawat, Timber: 15,000 cft, Firewood: 1,500 cft, Reserve Price: 14,679 PKR - Lot 05: Compartment 14 Lawat, Timber: 2,000 cft, Firewood: 0 cft, Reserve Price: 5,129 PKR - Lot 06: Compartment 07 Sharda, Timber: 25,000 cft, Firewood: 5,000 cft, Reserve Price: 38,498 PKR The auction will be conducted as per the rules and regulations of the Forest Department and AJK PPRA. All interested parties must submit earnest money equivalent to 10% of the reserve price for each lot they wish to bid on, in the form of a CDR or pay order. Bidders must be registered with FBR and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). The successful bidders will be required to pay all applicable taxes, including GST, and complete the removal of forest produce within the stipulated time frame. The auction will take place on 23 October 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Divisional Forest Officer's office in Neelum. For best results, bidders should inspect the lots in advance and ensure all documentation is complete before the auction date.
