AUCTION: Industrial Waste and Used Textile Clothing Material from Dump Yard No 2 at Karachi Export Processing Zone

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Export Processing Zones Authority is conducting a public auction for the sale of industrial waste and used textile clothing material from Dump Yard no 2 on an AS IS WHERE IS BASIS at Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi. The auction will be held on 18-08-2026 at 2:30 pm at the KEPZ premises. Interested parties are invited to inspect the industrial waste lying in the dumping area during office hours (9:30 am to 4:00 pm) prior to the auction date to check the type and condition of the lot. The material primarily contains used textile clothing and other industrial waste. Items being auctioned: - Industrial waste and used textile clothing material from Dump Yard no 2 (as is, where is) Participation in the auction requires submission of a non-refundable participation fee of PKR 15,000 per lot by 17-08-2026. Only registered firms/participants will be allowed to participate in the open auction on 18-08-2026. Bids must be inclusive of all government duties and taxes. The successful bidder must deposit an additional 35 percent EPZA share on the highest approved bid, 10 percent advance withholding tax as per clause 236A of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, and 25 percent advance immediately upon being declared successful. The remaining amount, along with taxes and EPZA share, must be deposited within three working days after award. Failure to remove the material within seven working days will result in forfeiture of earnest money and blacklisting from future auctions. No sorting or segregation is allowed before or after award. The successful bidder must remove all material from the dumping area as per EPZA requirements. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per Pakistan Customs Auction Rules. A practical tip: Visit the site in advance to inspect the lot and clarify any queries with the EPZA office to avoid surprises on auction day. Ensure all bid documents and participation fees are submitted before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
