Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) is conducting an open auction for the disposal of industrial waste materials generated at Dump Yard No. 6, Karachi Export Processing Zone. This auction is open to all interested parties who wish to acquire used and surplus industrial waste, including scrap and other materials as per the specifications outlined by EPZA. The auction will be held on 18-08-2026 at 2:30 pm at the EPZA Headquarters, Karachi.
Items being auctioned:
- Industrial waste and used materials from Dump Yard No. 6, Karachi Export Processing Zone (as per the list and weight to be provided by EPZA)
Interested parties must submit earnest money of 15,000 PKR by 17-08-2026 to participate in the auction. Only those who deposit the earnest money will be eligible to bid. The successful bidder will be required to pay the full auctioned amount as per the terms and conditions, including applicable taxes and EPZA's share (35%). The auctioned materials must be removed from the premises within the stipulated time frame, and the successful bidder must comply with all EPZA regulations regarding the handling and transportation of industrial waste.
The auction will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of EPZA, and the decision of the competent authority will be final. Bidders are advised to inspect the materials prior to the auction date to assess the quality and quantity of the waste being disposed of. Participation is open to all eligible parties, and preference will be given to those who meet the technical and financial requirements set by EPZA.
A practical tip for bidders: Visit the dump yard before the auction to evaluate the materials and clarify any queries with EPZA officials. This will help you make an informed bid and avoid surprises after winning the auction.
