NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Mineral Development Buner invites registered contractors of Minor Minerals to participate in the auction and grant of Minor Mineral Leases for various blocks in District Buner under Section 78 Sub Section (3) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Mineral Act 2017. The auction includes the following blocks with their respective extents and reserve prices: - Totalai Block: 648.8 acres near village Totalai, Reserve Price Rs. 11,225,500 - Pir Abai Block: 61.38 acres near village Pir Abai, Reserve Price Rs. 1,144,000 - Sunigram to Kalpani Block: 451.36 acres near village Sunigram to Kalpani, Reserve Price Rs. 4,111,800 - Kulyari Block: 547.18 acres near village Kulyari, Reserve Price Rs. 2,475,000 - Ambela to Tanoli Dherai Block: 656.14 acres near village Ambela to Tanoli Dherai, Reserve Price Rs. 1,903,000 - Tanoli Dherai to Khanano Dherai Block: 620.63 acres near village Tanoli Dherai to Khanano Dherai, Reserve Price Rs. 1,908,500 The registered parties must be registered with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Minor Minerals Contractors. Application forms with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10,000 must be submitted at least three days before the auction. The last date for submission is 28/08/2026. The auction will be held at the office of Deputy Commissioner Buner on 02/09/2026 at 11:00 AM, with a backup date of 03/09/2026 at 11:00 AM if needed. Applicants must submit attested copies of CNIC, NTN, partnership deed/article, and evidence of paid-up capital if applicable. Call deposits must be made to specified Bank of Khyber accounts. The successful bidder must deposit 1/4th of the total bid money as security within three days of the auction and demarcate the leased area within fifteen days at their own expense. The bidder is also responsible for paying excise duty, withholding tax, professional tax, and surface rent as per the Mineral Sector Governance Act 2017. Interested parties can visit the office during working hours 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM to check the areas and obtain further information. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid with cogent reasons. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents and fees are submitted timely and to visit the site beforehand to avoid any surprises during lease demarcation.
