Invitation for Matchmaking Event under Public-Private-Producers Partnership (4P) Model for Trout Fish and Peach Value Chains

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, through KP-RETP (Northern Cluster, Swat), is organizing a matchmaking event to foster Public-Private-Producers Partnerships (4P) aimed at investing in Trout Fish Production & Marketing and Peach Pulping & Processing along with allied trades. This initiative seeks to strengthen emerging enterprises by enhancing productivity, innovation, quality standards, and promoting value addition through branding, packaging, certification, and product diversification. The project also aims to establish strong market linkages between producer groups and private sector firms to enhance income generation and rural enterprise development. Items being focused on: - Trout Fish Production & Marketing - Peach Pulping, Processing & Marketing The matchmaking events will be held at the Agriculture Research Institute, Takhta Band Road, Mingora, Swat on October 19, 2026, with Trout Fish Production & Marketing session at 10:00 AM and Peach Pulping, Processing & Marketing session at 2:00 PM. Interested private companies, firms, enterprises, promoters, investors, relevant public sector line departments, and farmers' cooperatives are invited to participate. The objective is to identify potential private sector partners to collaborate with producer groups for developing sustainable, market-oriented enterprises. Based on market intelligence gathered, the project will adopt appropriate 4P implementation modalities and prepare a Request for Proposal (RFP) accordingly. Participants are advised to prepare relevant business profiles and partnership proposals to maximize engagement opportunities. Early registration and punctual attendance at the venue will facilitate smooth proceedings and networking. This event represents a valuable opportunity for stakeholders to contribute to rural economic transformation in Swat through innovative public-private collaboration.
