AUCTION: Raddi (Waste Paper) and Un-Useable Scrap Material at Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Institute of Education and Research (IER) at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, is offering an auction for raddi (waste paper) and un-useable scrap material. Interested individuals, firms, and companies are invited to submit sealed bids through an Open Competitive Bidding process for the public auction of the following lots on an 'As Is Where Is' basis. Items being auctioned: - Lot-I: Raddi (Waste Paper) including old examination answer books, students' assignments, used office papers, old newspapers, old magazines, obsolete books, thesis and dissertations declared disposable, and other waste paper approved for auction. Preference will be given to firms/companies engaged in paper recycling. - Lot-II: Scrap of Wooden Furniture including un-useable and condemned wooden furniture such as tables, chairs, desks, cupboards, benches, racks, and other wooden items. - Lot-III: Scrap of Steel Furniture & Other Steel Items including un-useable and condemned steel furniture and scrap items such as steel tables, chairs, cupboards, steel racks, damaged door frames, broken doors, electric water coolers, and other miscellaneous steel items. Tender/Auction documents can be obtained from the office of the Director, Institute of Education and Research during office hours upon payment of the prescribed tender fee. Sealed bids must reach the office on or before 28-08-2026 at 10:00 AM. The bids will be opened on 30-08-2026 at 10:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or cancel the auction process at any stage without assigning any reason. Employees of the University of the Punjab, including the Institute of Education and Research, are not allowed to participate in the auction. Bidders should ensure timely submission of bids and carefully review the auction documents to avoid disqualification. It is advisable to inspect the lots beforehand to assess the condition and quantity of materials being auctioned.
