Auction for Sale of Iron Scrap, Rejected Transmission Items, and Unserviceable Electrical Items

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (PMTF) Karachi invites sealed bids from specialized firms and companies registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Authorities for the sale and disposal of scrap and unserviceable items. Items being auctioned include: - Iron Scrap - Rejected Transmission Items - Unserviceable Electrical Items The sale will be conducted on an 'As is & where is, Clean-Up and All must go' basis. Interested bidders may inspect the disposal material by coordinating with the Manager (Central Stores) on working days (Monday to Thursday) between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM up to 02 October 2026. Tender documents and detailed terms and conditions can be collected from the Procurement Department after three days from the date of advertisement upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000 through Pay Order in favor of Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (Pvt.) Ltd. The last date for submission of bids is 05 October 2026 up to 10:00 AM. Pre-qualification is required for parties dealing in Steel Shaving Chips for a period from 01 October 2026 to 30 September 2027, subject to PMTF terms and conditions. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals at any time prior to acceptance in accordance with applicable rules and terms. Bidders are advised to ensure timely inspection and submission of bids with all required documents and earnest money to avoid disqualification.
