NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Bestway Cement Limited, Pakistan's largest cement manufacturer, is offering for sale surplus and redundant items on an 'as is where is' basis at its Hattar, Farooqia, and Kallar Kahar plants. The auction includes a variety of items categorized as Surplus and Redundant across these three locations. Items being auctioned: Surplus Items: - Seals & Gaskets (155 approx.) - Maintenance Spares (63 approx.) - Pipe & Fittings (238 approx.) - Hardware Material (110 approx.) - Bearings (390 approx.) - Engineering Material (98 approx.) - Rubber Material (114 approx.) - Welding Material (12 approx.) - Lubricants (15 approx.) Total Surplus Items: 1195 approx. Redundant Items: - Administration (8 items total) - Auto Shop (0 items) - Electrical (32 items total) - Mechanical (42 items total) - Power Generation (7 items total) - Quality Control (5 items total) Total Redundant Items: 90 approx. The auction is held at the respective plants located in Hattar, Farooqia, and Kallar Kahar. Interested parties are invited to visit the plants for inspection of the items from 21-09-2026 (Monday) to 25-09-2026 (Friday) during 10:00-12:00 hours and 14:30-16:30 hours. Quotations must be submitted plant-wise with separate rates by 28-09-2026 (Monday) along with a Demand Draft or Pay Order of Rs. 1,000,000/- in favor of Bestway Cement Limited as refundable earnest money. The auction is managed by Bestway Cement Limited's Head of Procurement, Islamabad. The company reserves the right to cancel any bid or quotation without giving any reason. Contractors must lift all scrap within the stipulated time or risk forfeiture of the security amount. Afghan citizens are not allowed to be hired by contractors or enter plant premises. Health and safety PPEs are mandatory when entering the plants. Bidders should ensure timely submission of quotations and visit the plants for thorough inspection to prepare competitive bids.
