AUCTION: Sale of Unserviceable Auctionable Items at Abandoned Power Houses District Ghizar

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Water and Power Division Ghizar under the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan invites interested parties to participate in an open and transparent auction for the sale of unserviceable and auctionable items lying at abandoned power houses in District Ghizar. This auction is conducted under the supervision of a committee comprising the Executive Engineer of W&P Division Ghizar, representatives from the Finance Department and General Administration Department, and concerned Sub-Divisional Officers. The auction follows the directives of the Gilgit-Baltistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and the General Financial Rules (GFR). Items being auctioned include: LOT 1 — ISHKOMAN PH-1 (1.5 MW): - Generator, 500 KVA (1 No, 4,500 kg) - Panels (4 Nos, 200 kg) LOT 2 — SLIHERANG PH-1: - Generator Body, 125 KVA (1 No, 300 kg) - Generator, 100 KW (1 No, 250 kg) - Turbine, complete (2 Nos, 200 kg) - Generator Bed (6 Nos) - Panels (4 Nos, 140 kg) - HT Trolley (2 Nos) LOT 3 — SINGUL PH-1: - Generator, 100 KW (2 Nos, 500 kg) - Governor (2 Nos, 360 kg) - Valve (2 Nos, 90 kg) - Panels (2 Nos, 70 kg) - Penstock Pipe, 16" dia, length approx. 155 Rft (2,800 kg) LOT 4 — SHERQILA PH-1: - Generator, 135 KVA (1 No, 330 kg) - Turbine (1 No, 200 kg) - Panels (2 Nos, 70 kg) - Control Valve (1 No, 90 kg) - Penstock Pipe, 24" dia, length approx. 260 Rft (7,000 kg) - Fly Wheel (1 No, 250 kg) - Governor (1 No, 90 kg) - Draft Tube (1 No, 120 kg) The auction will be held on 21st October 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Office of the Executive Engineer, W&P Division Ghizar. Interested bidders must submit sealed bids at least 30 minutes prior to the opening time, along with the requisite earnest money and valid CNIC. Earnest money amounts vary per lot, for example, Rs. 28,500 for Lot 1 and Rs. 50,000 for Lot 4. Bidders must deposit earnest money/bid security in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or Pay Order in favor of the Executive Engineer, W&P Division Ghizar before participation. The auction is conducted on an "AS IS WHERE IS" basis with no warranty on condition or completeness. Successful bidders must deposit the full bid amount within seven days of acceptance and are responsible for dismantling and removal of items within fifteen days of full payment.
