AUCTION: Disposal of 66kV and 132kV Redundant Transmission Line Materials by Islamabad Electric Supply Company

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites bids for the disposal of redundant transmission line materials from multiple 66kV and 132kV overhead lines located in Rajjar, Chakwal, Talagang, Dandot, and Bilawal areas. The auction includes a comprehensive list of scrap materials such as ACSR Wolf conductors, iron scrap towers, tension fittings, suspension fittings, wire dampers, PG clamps, disc insulators, shield wires, earth clamps, tubular poles, pin insulators, stay wires, nuts & bolts, and other related items. Items being auctioned: - 132kV Redundant L.B Mangla – Rajjar S/C T/Line materials including ACSR Wolf conductor (100,822 KG), iron scrap towers (349,285 KG), tension fittings, suspension fittings, wire dampers, PG clamps, disc insulators, shield wire, earth clamps, and others - 66kV Redundant Chakwal – N.P Sethi S/C T/Line materials including ACSR Wolf conductor (9,137 KG), iron scrap towers (99,811 KG), shield wire, disc insulators, suspension clamps, tension clamps, stock bridge dampers, PG clamps, earth wire, earth tension clamps, hooks, sockets, U bolts, D shackles, arcing horns - 66kV Redundant Chakwal – Talagang S/C T/Line materials including dog conductor (19,348 KG), iron scrap towers (302,024 KG), shield wire, disc insulators, suspension clamps, earth suspension clamps, stock bridges, hooks, sockets, U bolts, arcing horns - 66kV Redundant Chakwal – Dandot T/Line materials including ACSR Wolf conductor (10,215 KG), GS-1 type iron scrap towers (44,218 KG), shield wire, disc insulators, suspension clamps, tension clamps, stock bridge dampers, PG clamps, earth wire, earth tension clamps, hooks, sockets, U bolts, D shackles, arcing horns - 66kV Redundant D.S Bilawal – Talagang S/C T/Line materials including tubular poles S-Type (65,500 KG), tubular poles H-Type (37,524 KG), 132kV tower ZM-30 (4,100 KG), dog conductor (52,564 KG), pin insulators, disc insulators, shield wire, dead end clamps, suspension clamps, stay wires, stay rods, X-arms, nuts & bolts, PG connectors The auction is conducted through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal Systems (E-PADS) Portal v2.0. Bidders must submit bids online and provide earnest money/bid security in the form of CDR or Bank Guarantee valid for 120 days, issued by a scheduled bank rated A+ or above, in favor of the Chief Executive Officer IESCO Islamabad before the bid closing time. The bidding is on an 'as is where is' basis, and bidders are encouraged to inspect the transmission lines by coordinating with the XEN SS&TL Division Rajjar before 19.10.2026. The bid validity period is 120 days from the date of bid opening. Successful bidders must deposit the total amount within 21 working days of the Letter of Award issuance and dismantle and lift the materials within 35 working days of the Release Order. Payments must be made via CDR in favor of the Chief Executive Officer IESCO submitted to the Finance Director IESCO office. Registration with FBR as an active taxpayer is mandatory. Applicable taxes include 18% GST and 10% Income Tax or any other government levies. IESCO reserves the right to accept, reject, or cancel bids wholly or partially. Bidders must submit an undertaking on Rs. 100/- judicial stamp paper along with the sealed bid security before the closing time.
