Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites interested and eligible bidders to participate in the auction for the sale of unserviceable power transformers located at various grid stations under the SS&T Division in Dadu. The auction is conducted on an 'as is where is' basis, and bidders must quote rates for the complete tender to be considered. The items available for sale include power transformers at the following locations:
- 10/13 MVA Transformer at Moro Grid Station
- 5 MVA Transformer at Moro Grid Station
- 6.3 MVA Transformer at Faridabad Grid Station
- 10/13 MVA Transformer at Faridabad Grid Station
- 40 MVA Transformer at Naushero Feroze Grid Station
- 7.5 MVA Transformer at Naushero Feroze Grid Station
- 10.7 MVA Transformer at Naushero Feroze Grid Station
- 20/26 MVA Transformer at Padidan Grid Station
- 2 MVA Transformer at Padidan Grid Station
- 1 MVA Transformer at Padidan Grid Station
- 2 MVA Transformer at Padidan Grid Station

The auction is managed by the Chief Engineer (Development), Project Management Unit, SEPCO Sukkur. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the transformers at the designated stores during office hours before submitting their bids. The auction process requires bidders to submit their bids electronically via the E-PADS V2.0 platform, and bids submitted by any other means will be rejected. A refundable bid security of PKR 11,055,050/- must accompany each bid, valid for 150 days from the date of tender opening.
Bidders must be registered taxpayers with valid CNIC, NTN, and STRN (if available). The auction will be conducted on 28-09-2026 at 11:30 AM through E-PADS in the presence of bidders' representatives. The highest evaluated bid will be awarded the complete tender, with the second highest bidder considered if the first fails to meet requirements. Successful bidders must deposit the remaining amount within 21 days and lift the material within 21 working days of release order issuance.
Bidders should ensure compliance with all terms and conditions, including safety, environmental guidelines, and SEPCO protocols during removal. Any damage to SEPCO property will be recovered from the bidder. This auction is governed by WAPDA disposal procedures and PPRA disposal rules. SEPCO reserves the right to reject any or all bids and cancel or extend the auction as deemed necessary.
