AUCTION: Government Primary and High School Canteen/Shop Lease Rights in Mardan District 2026

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The District Education Officer Mardan is inviting bids for the lease rights of canteens/shops in various government primary and high schools across Mardan district. This public auction is being held for the second time after prior approval from the competent authority and the completion of the initial and secondary auction attempts. Interested parties are encouraged to participate in this opportunity to operate canteens or shops within the listed schools for the upcoming period. Items being auctioned: - Government Primary School Qasim Toru, Mardan (2 canteens/shops) — Auction date: 5 September 2026 - Government Primary School Anar Bagh No. 1, Garhi Kapura (4 canteens/shops) — Auction date: 5 September 2026 - Government Primary School Kodin K Garhi Kapura, Mardan (2 canteens/shops) — Auction date: 5 September 2026 - Government Primary School Ghala Dher No. 1, Mardan (3 canteens/shops) — Auction date: 7 September 2026 - Government High School Labour Colony, Mardan (2 canteens/shops) — Auction date: 7 September 2026 - Government Primary School Shahi Abad, Khud (4 canteens/shops) — Auction date: 9 September 2026 - Government High School Toru Road, Mardan (4 canteens/shops) — Auction date: 9 September 2026 The technical scope includes the right to operate and manage the canteen or shop within the school premises as per the terms and conditions set by the education department. Bidders must deposit an earnest money of PKR 50,000 in the form of a pay order or demand draft at the office of the undersigned before the auction date. Successful bidders must pay the remaining amount within the stipulated time after approval, failing which the earnest money will be forfeited. Legal action will be taken in case of non-compliance. Only eligible individuals or firms with valid CNIC and the ability to fulfill the terms of the lease will be considered. The auction will be conducted in the presence of the relevant committee, and the department reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning a reason. Bidders are advised to visit the respective schools before the auction date to assess the location and potential of each canteen/shop.
