AUCTION: Scrap Marine Mechanical and Electronics Machinery, General-Use Items at PMSS Indus Karachi

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Pakistan Maritime Security Agency is conducting a public auction of scrap material, including marine mechanical and electronics machinery as well as other general-use items, at PMSS Indus, Plot No. 34-A, Dockyard Road, Karachi. The auction will be held on Thursday, 15 October 2026, at 11:00 a.m. on an as is, where is basis. This is an excellent opportunity for bidders interested in acquiring surplus government assets from a reputable federal maritime authority in Karachi. Items being auctioned: - Scrap marine mechanical machinery (various types, as available) - Scrap electronics machinery (various types, as available) - Other general-use items (details available for inspection at site) All items are offered in lots or as a whole, and the rate will be assessed for the entire quantity or for different lots as per the auctioneer's discretion. Interested parties may inspect the items at the above address on 12 and 13 October 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Entry to the auction requires payment of a non-refundable entry fee of Rs. 2000 per person and presentation of original computerized identity card (CNIC). Only those with valid CNICs will be allowed entry. The successful bidder must pay 25 percent of the bid amount immediately after the auction, with the remaining balance to be deposited within five days. Failure to deposit the balance within the stipulated time will result in forfeiture of the initial deposit. All applicable taxes must be paid by the successful bidder as per government rules, and collection of goods must be completed within seven days of bid approval. The Director General, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, reserves the right to reject any bid or cancel the auction under PPRA Rule 33(i) 2004.
