Auction of Scrap Material Lots by Karachi Port Trust

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites electronic bids for the e-Auction of scrap material on an 'as is-where is basis' at Karachi. The auction is managed by the Stores Department of KPT. Interested bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for Income Tax and Sales Tax and must be on the Active Taxpayer List. E-bidding documents are available on EPADS Version 2.0 at https://epads.gov.pk/ and contain detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements. Items being auctioned: - Scrap of Furniture, Hospital Equipment & Machinery, Old Mattresses, Pillows, etc. - Scrap of Dismantled MS pipes dia 8" & 16" - Scrap of Iron Grill, Wooden Doors & Windows Bidders are advised to inspect the lots during office hours at the central disposal yard, West Wharf Road Karachi before submitting bids. All bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS (2.0 version) on or before Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Electronic bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM. Participants must submit an attested copy of their valid CNIC through EPADS. Bidders are responsible for completing all formalities and requirements for electronic bid submission. All applicable taxes, duties, and levies will be charged as per government rules. All lots will be sold to the highest bidder after approval of the Competent Authority. The decision of the Competent Authority shall be final and binding. In case of any discrepancy or technical issue, EPADS helpdesk may be contacted. Bidders must furnish earnest money equal to 10% of the reserve price for each lot.
