Auction Notice for Toll Tax Collection Rights at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for Period 12-09-2026 to 30-06-2027

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Irrigation Department Multan Zone invites sealed bids/tenders for the award of contract for Toll collection rights at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for a period of 292 days commencing from 12-09-2026 to 30-06-2027. The auction will be held on 09-09-2026 at 12:00 PM and opened at 12:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Items being auctioned: - Toll collection rights at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for 292 days The Chief Engineer, Irrigation Multan Zone has approved the 2nd revised reserve price for the year 2026-27 (365 days). Bidders must furnish earnest money in the shape of CDR amounting to 5% of the reserve price. Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, Mailsi Syphon Division Thingi until 08-09-2026. Sealed bids must be submitted along with earnest money by 09-09-2026 at 12:00 PM. The successful bidder will pay the bid amount in twelve installments in advance. All expenses for provision, operation, and maintenance of facilities mentioned in the bid documents will be borne by the lessee. The bidder must sign every page of the tender documents and corrections therein. Toll tax will be levied on vehicles as per government notified schedule. The successful bidder must provide a bank guarantee of 10% of the total bid amount after sanction from competent authority. Income tax at 10% of bid price will be deposited as per government schedule. In case of government enhancement of toll tax rates, the bid price will be adjusted accordingly. No compensation will be given for closure of road or bridge due to any disaster or breach. The auction committee reserves the right to reject bids without justification. In case of public holiday, the tender will be received/opened on the next working day. Bidders are advised to carefully review all bid conditions and ensure timely submission of all required documents including CNIC, specimen signature, and power of attorney if applicable.
