Tender Description
Fauji Akbar Portia Marine Terminals Limited (FAP) invites sealed bids from FBR and SST registered contractors/firms with proven experience in the Design, Fabrication, Installation and Commissioning of Bulk Grain Handling Systems.
Items being procured:
- Design, Supply, Fabrication, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Bulk Grain Handling System (bucket elevator, chain conveyors, intake pit, etc.)
- Storage and reclaim of cargoes in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Warehouse
- Complete Civil Works related to the project
The scope includes comprehensive civil infrastructure works alongside the mechanical and electrical installation of the grain handling system at Port Bin Qasim, Karachi. Bidders must be capable of handling both the technical and civil aspects of the project to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
Interested bidders can obtain tender documents from the Document & Data Control (DDC) Department at FAP during office hours (Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 5,000.
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked 'Tender for Bulk Grain Handling System & Civil Infrastructure Works'. A bid security of One Million PKR in the form of a Pay Order favoring Fauji Akbar Portia Marine Terminals Limited is mandatory.
The last date for submission of bids is 23rd September 2026. Bidders should ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. The procurement process will be conducted in accordance with FAP policies, and the authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
