Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of certified locally produced olive nursery plants under Phase II of the olive cultivation promotion project. The procurement covers delivery to multiple locations including Islamabad, Peshawar, Shinkiari, Quetta, Loralai, Zhob, Panigoor, Khuzdar, Kila Saifullah, Chakwal, Karachi, Tando Jam, Hyderabad, Muzaffarabad, and Gilgit Baltistan. The Pakistan Olive Seed Department requires 650,050 olive nursery plants to support commercial scale olive cultivation across these regions.
The scope involves sourcing high-quality olive nursery plants that meet detailed specifications outlined in the tender documents. Suppliers must ensure plants are certified and locally produced, suitable for diverse agro-climatic zones. The project demands careful logistics planning to deliver plants in good condition to multiple sites, considering regional challenges such as terrain and climate variability.
Bidders should hold a valid PEC category relevant to agricultural supplies and maintain an active FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. The tender requires submission of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) amounting to 2% of the estimated cost as earnest money, with successful bidders furnishing a 1% performance security post-award. Compliance with PPRA rules and local procurement regulations is mandatory.
The submission deadline is set for 26th January 2026 at 2:00 pm, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 2:30 pm. Bids must be submitted through the Electronic Procurement and Disposal System (EPADS) on a single stage single envelope basis. The physical address for document collection and inquiries is the Administrative Office, F-Block, NARC, Park Road, Islamabad.
Pro-Tip: Ensure the tender fee and earnest money instruments are prepared exactly as per instructions to avoid disqualification. Also, verify the latest updates on the EPADS portal and cross-check the tender documents for any addenda or amendments before submission.
