Tender Description
The **Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC)** is procuring services for a Chemist Shop to provide discounts on all patient medicines for its executives and employees in the Shahdadpur and Hyderabad region. This procurement is specific to medicines registered in the Red Book Latest Edition and requires the chemist to supply medicines as prescribed by retainer doctors, maintain cold chain segments, ensure cleanliness, and manage electrical equipment and monthly billing. The contract includes space provision for the chemist shop along with furniture and fixtures.
The scope covers responsibilities such as providing medicines on printed prescriptions, maintaining uninterrupted medicine supply, and adhering to strict terms including no supply of expired or prohibited medicines. The contract period is one year with possible renewal based on performance. The contractor must have a valid drug license, be active in the FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and demonstrate technical compliance through documentation such as bank certificates, NTN, and cold chain capabilities.
Bids must be submitted online via the EPADS portal by **30-04-2026 at 11:00 hours**, with public opening at 11:30 hours the same day. A fixed bid bond of **PKR 10,000** is mandatory, along with a performance bond of **PKR 25,000**. The tender follows a single stage two envelope bidding procedure requiring separate technical and financial proposals. The contract will be awarded on a lot-wise package basis.
Bidders should ensure all documents are signed, stamped, and submitted correctly to avoid rejection. It is advisable to carefully review the technical evaluation criteria and ensure all documentary evidence is complete. A practical tip for bidders is to register early on the EPADS system and confirm submission well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues, as no bids will be accepted without the bid bond or earnest money.
