Tender Description
The Municipal Committee Muzaffargarh invites bids from eligible engineering firms and contractors for a series of annual framework contracts for the financial year 2026-27. This opportunity is open to firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category/codes and holding valid registration on the Punjab PPRA e-Procurement portal. The procurement process will be conducted online as per the latest PPRA rules, ensuring transparency and competitive participation.
Items being procured:
- Annual framework contract for construction, repair, and supply of civil work (Rs. 7.00 Million)
- Annual framework contract for street lights and electrical works (Rs. 9.00 Million)
- Annual framework contract for repair of machinery and supply items (Rs. 3.00 Million)
- Annual framework contract for arrangements of different events/festivals (Rs. 9.50 Million)

- Annual framework contract for supply of different items (Rs. 8.00 Million)
- Providing and installation of 30 KW solar system for office (Rs. 4.023 Million)
Each contract specifies a 5 percent earnest money requirement, to be submitted electronically via the Punjab e-Procurement System. No physical instruments will be accepted. Bidders must upload all required documents and submit their bids through the e-Procurement portal. After online submission, contractors may attend the Municipal Committee office in Muzaffargarh on 26-08-2026 at 01:00 pm for bid opening, where quoted rates and successful bidders will be announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
Eligibility requires valid PEC registration, compliance with PPRA rules, and submission of bid security. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per Rule-35. For technical queries or to view detailed estimates/drawings, bidders may visit the Municipal Committee office during working hours. A practical tip: ensure your bid security is calculated precisely at 5 percent of your quoted amount and is submitted electronically, as physical CDRs or pay orders will not be accepted under the current e-Procurement regime.
