Conservation, Preservation & Rehabilitation of Mohen Jo Daro

The Directorate General of Antiquities & Archaeology, Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department Government of Sindh invites E-bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) for the conservation, preservation, and rehabilitation of Mohen Jo Daro in Karachi. This tender is open to all contractors and firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2026-27 under SPPRRA Rules 2010 (as amended). Items being procured: - Conservation, Preservation & Rehabilitation of Mohen Jo Daro (Completion Period: 10 Months) The technical scope includes detailed conservation and rehabilitation works at the historic site of Mohen Jo Daro. The project requires expertise in heritage preservation and adherence to technical specifications outlined in the bidding documents available on the SPPRRA and EPADS portals. Bidders must be registered with PEC in category C-5 or above. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration, NTN and SRB registration, and submission of bid security amounting to Rs. 2,500,000/- in the form of Call Deposit, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee. The tender fee is Rs. 5,000/-. Bidders must submit their bids electronically via EPADS by 13-10-2026 at 02:30 PM. Technical proposals will be opened on the same day at 04:00 PM at the office of the Conservation Officer, Bunglow# C-82, Block #2, Clifton, Karachi. Manual bids will not be accepted. The procurement follows a Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure where technical proposals are evaluated independently of financial proposals. Only technically qualified bidders will have their financial proposals opened subsequently. The bid security and tender fee instruments must be submitted online and the originals must reach the office before tender opening.
