Tender Description
The Directorate General of Archaeology Punjab invites e-Bids through e-procure Punjab from firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category specializing in BC-02 (Restoration & Conservation) with experience in Conservation Projects. This tender covers three major works in Punjab province, specifically in Lahore and Bhera.
Items being procured:
- Conservation / Rehabilitation and Development Works at Kamran Baradari Lahore (Estimated Cost Rs. 77.98 million)
- Conservation of Historical Gates of Bhera (04 Gates) (Estimated Cost Rs. 16.000 million)
- Electrification and Illumination Works at Presbyterian Church Lahore (Estimated Cost Rs. 7.693 million)
The scope includes restoration and conservation of heritage sites and structures, requiring specialized materials and skilled workmanship to preserve historical integrity. The Kamran Baradari project involves extensive rehabilitation and development works, while the Bhera gates require conservation of four historical gates. The Presbyterian Church project focuses on electrification and illumination to enhance the site's visibility and safety.
Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC under category C-4 or above for Kamran Baradari works and C-6 or above for the other two projects. Firms must also have FBR registration and demonstrate relevant experience. Earnest money of 5% of the estimated cost is required for each lot.
Technical and financial bids must be submitted online at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ by the deadline of 23rd November 2026 at 02:00 PM. The technical bid opening will follow at 02:30 PM on the same day in the office of the Directorate General Archaeology, 60-A, Garden Block, Garden Town, Lahore.
Bidders should carefully quote rates against each item in the DNIT/BOQs and ensure completeness to avoid disqualification. The work will be awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder after correction of any arithmetic errors. A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly review the bidding documents available on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website (http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and ensure compliance with all submission requirements to avoid rejection.
This tender offers a significant opportunity for firms specializing in heritage conservation and electrical works to contribute to preserving Punjab's cultural legacy while engaging in substantial government projects.
