Tender Description
The Public Works, Planning & Housing Department District Jhal Magsi is procuring construction services for a black top road from SP House to DHQ Gandawah Link Road, covering a length of 1.1 kilometers. This project is part of the Balochistan Special Development Initiatives for the fiscal year 2025-26, Phase-II. The scope involves civil works for road construction under composite schedule rates (CSR) 2026 on percentage basis.
Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and discipline. They must also hold valid registration with tax authorities including NTN, Sales Tax Department, and Balochistan Revenue Authority where applicable. Firms should demonstrate financial capacity with turnover records for the last three years and submit an oath certificate attested by an oath commissioner confirming authenticity of bid documents. Submission of last three years audit reports, Rs.100 stamp affidavit, and Rs.500 stamp power of attorney attested by a first-class magistrate is mandatory.
The tender fee of Rs.2000 is non-refundable and must be deposited via green challan in National Bank of Pakistan Jhal Magsi Branch under account C-02716. Bidding documents can be obtained from the department upon payment or downloaded from the BPPRA website. Earnest money of 2% must be submitted as bank guarantee or call deposit receipt from a scheduled bank.
The deadline for submission is 01-June-2026 by 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled on 01-June-2026 at 12:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes by hand or registered mail to the Executive Engineer (Roads) CWPP&H Department District Jhal Magsi. For successful bidding, ensure all documents are complete and properly attested to avoid disqualification. Timely submission and adherence to the two-envelope bidding procedure are critical for consideration.
