Construction of Clean Room/Biotech Lab HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Process, Civil, Plumbing, Furniture and Mechanical Works

The Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, Lahore, invites bids under PPRA rules 2004 through e-procurement (EPADS) for the construction of a clean room/biotechnology laboratory. This project includes multiple lots covering HVAC systems, clean room panels, electrical works, fire fighting works, process/utilities works, civil and plumbing works, and furniture and mechanical works. Items being procured: - Lot 1: HVAC Systems for Biotech/Clean Rooms, Production Line 1 & 2, Ground Floor - Lot 2: Clean Rooms Panels - Lot 3: Electrical Works - Lot 4: Fire Fighting Works - Lot 5: Process/Utilities Works - Lot 6: Civil, Plumbing Works - Lot 7: Furniture and Mechanical Works The technical scope involves installation and construction of specialized HVAC systems, electrical wiring, fire safety installations, process utilities, civil and plumbing infrastructure, and furnishing for a high-standard biotech laboratory environment. Bidders must be registered with PEC and FBR/ATL and provide earnest money in the form of CDR as specified. The bid security varies per lot, generally 2% of the estimated cost, to be attached with the technical bid. Interested bidders may submit bids for all lots as a single package or individually. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total amount in the form of CDR in the name of the Director, CEMB. The tender opening is scheduled for 10.09.2026 at 10:00 AM in the sealed envelopes presence of bidders' representatives. Technical and financial bids must be uploaded on the e-procurement portal (epads). Tender documents are also available on the official website www.cemb.edu.pk. The Director CEMB reserves the right to reject any or all tenders. Bidders are advised to upload technical tender documents in the sequence demanded in the tender document.
